Funeral Ceremonies

Maybe you have Pre –paid your funeral so that your family has one less thing to worry about.

But what about the actual Funeral Service? Have you given any thought to that? Would you be grateful for the words that were spoken on your behalf? Would you be happy if you knew what you would be remembered for? Maybe there were things left unsaid, that you wish you had said. Why not discuss your funeral ceremony with me, Maureen Thorpe, an Independent Funeral Celebrant about the way you would like to say farewell to your loved ones.

So what are the benefits of engaging an Independent Funeral Celebrant?

Often it's easier to talk to a stranger than a loved one, who may be reluctant to discuss your death.

Often it's a task we know we should do, but we don't know where to start.

Perhaps we do not know what our options are.

Having someone to assist is a way of making ourselves find the time ... otherwise we may never seem to "get around to it!"

Independent funeral celebrants are not in the employ of a specific funeral company or some other funeral provider, and so are able to provide you with a broad range of funeral related options and information.

Paying for this service does not lock your family or friends into having to use my services should you move later. However a special fee would benegotiated if I were to perform the ceremony.

Instructions would be left with your next of kin, your Funeral Director or Solicitor so your wishes were carried out as you requested.
